Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Find helpful answers about consultations, booking, treatment suitability, downtime, expected results, and other common questions before your visit to Allure Aesthetics Regina.
Do you offer free skin consultations?
Yes. We offer free consultations, and you can book a consultation on its own without committing to a treatment. A consultation can be especially useful when you have a skin concern or goal but are unsure whether a facial, chemical peel, SkinPen Microneedling, ProCell Microchanneling, IPL, laser treatment or another option is appropriate to explore. A separate consultation is not automatically required for every service.
Can I book directly with you?
Yes. Appointments with Allure Aesthetics Regina can be booked through our online booking system with Vagaro. If you already know which treatment you want, you can proceed to booking. If you are still comparing services or are unsure which option fits your goals, you can explore our treatment information first or book a free consultation before choosing.
Who will provide my treatment with you?
Our treatment team includes Dipender Kaur, whose approved professional title is Registered Aesthetic Nurse, and Bhavneet Singh, who works as a Laser Technician. Bhavneet’s confirmed service scope is Men’s Laser Hair Removal. Provider information is kept clear so clients can understand who is associated with the service they are considering.
Do you screen me before treatment?
Relevant advanced treatments use screening and consent forms to help determine whether the planned service is appropriate for the individual. The exact process can vary depending on the treatment. If you have suitability questions or are uncertain about what to book, we also offer a free consultation so you can discuss your concerns before making a treatment decision.
Can you guarantee my treatment results?
No. We do not guarantee a specific result, degree of improvement or exact number of sessions needed to achieve a particular outcome. Skin, hair and treatment response can vary between individuals, which is why session numbers, downtime and expected progress should be treated as general guidance rather than promises. We aim to give you realistic information so you can make an informed decision before proceeding.
What downtime do your treatments usually involve?
Downtime depends on the treatment and the individual. As general guidance, our client-supplied expectations are approximately three days for SkinPen Microneedling and ProCell Microchanneling. BioRePeel also has an expected downtime of approximately three days, while our other chemical peels are generally associated with around one to two days. Other treatments have their own considerations, so we recommend reviewing the relevant treatment information before booking rather than assuming every service has the same recovery period.
Do you offer treatments for men?
Yes. Our studio serves a broad range of clients, and we also have a dedicated Men’s Laser Hair Removal service. Men’s Laser Hair Removal is provided by Bhavneet Singh in his role as Laser Technician, with treatment areas currently including options such as the chest, abs, underarms, back, shoulders and nape.
Which skin concerns can you help me address?
We provide treatment options that may be relevant to concerns such as pigmentation and dark spots, fine lines and wrinkles, uneven skin texture, acne, acne scarring, facial redness, visible vessels or spider veins, and unwanted hair. The appropriate option depends on the concern, your skin and the treatment being considered. We therefore describe these as treatment possibilities rather than diagnosing a condition or claiming that every service is suitable for every concern.
Which facials do you offer for different skin concerns?
Our current facial menu includes the Hydrating Glow Facial, Acne Management Facial, Brightening Hyperpigmentation Facial, Dermaplaning Facial, Oxygen Glow Peel Facial and Layered Enzyme Facial Treatment. The menu gives clients options for concerns and goals such as dehydration, dull-looking skin, breakouts and congestion, pigmentation and uneven tone, exfoliation, texture and general radiance. Because the facial choices are different, reviewing the Facials page can help you understand which options are most relevant before booking.
Do you offer dermaplaning as a facial or add-on?
Yes. Dermaplaning is available as a standalone Dermaplaning Facial, and a dermaplaning-style exfoliation option also appears as an add-on with relevant services. Dermaplaning is used for surface exfoliation, removal of dead surface skin and fine vellus or “peach fuzz” hair, helping create a smoother-looking skin surface. Add-on availability can depend on the service being booked.
How do your SkinPen Microneedling and ProCell Microchanneling treatments differ?
We offer both SkinPen Microneedling and ProCell Microchanneling, but they are not the same treatment. SkinPen is our Microneedling system, while ProCell Microchanneling uses a stamping-style approach to create multiple small microchannels and incorporates a ProCell-provided serum during the service. There are also practical differences in how the treatments are performed, which is why we maintain separate treatment information and a dedicated Microneedling vs Microchanneling comparison for clients deciding between them.
How many SkinPen Microneedling sessions do you usually recommend?
Our general guidance is approximately six SkinPen Microneedling sessions when deeper acne scarring or wrinkles are being addressed, and around four sessions for concerns such as fine lines, pores and overall skin rejuvenation. These numbers are guidance rather than a guarantee. Your actual treatment plan and response can vary, so the number of sessions should not be interpreted as a promise that a particular result will occur within a fixed course.
What downtime should I expect after your SkinPen Microneedling treatment?
Our general guidance for SkinPen Microneedling is approximately three days of downtime. Individual experiences can vary, so this should be treated as a typical estimate rather than an exact recovery promise. If timing matters because of work, travel or an upcoming event, it is sensible to consider the expected downtime when scheduling your appointment.
What is included in your Collagen Commitment Bundle?
Our Collagen Commitment Bundle includes four SkinPen Microneedling sessions scheduled four weeks apart and SkinPen aftercare products. We keep the current price for the bundle on our dedicated Pricing page so there is one reliable place to check the latest website pricing.
How many Laser Hair Removal sessions do you usually recommend?
Our general Laser Hair Removal treatment-plan guidance is at least six sessions, normally spaced approximately four weeks apart. This is a typical recommendation rather than a guarantee that every person will require the same number of appointments or achieve the same result. Individual response can vary, so your treatment course may need to be considered in the context of your own progress.
Which areas can you treat with Laser Hair Removal?
Our general Laser Hair Removal menu includes areas such as the full face, lips, chin, lip and chin, sideburns, underarms, arms, legs, chest, abdomen, back, bikini line and Brazilian area. Available options are organized by treatment area so you can review the relevant service and current price before booking Laser Hair Removal in Regina.
Do you offer separate Laser Hair Removal options for men?
Yes. We have a dedicated Men’s Laser Hair Removal service with its own treatment areas and provider. Current men’s treatment areas include the abs, chest, underarms, full back, upper back, lower back, shoulders and nape. Men’s Laser Hair Removal is provided by Bhavneet Singh in his role as Laser Technician.
What do you mean by IPL or Photo Facial?
At Allure Aesthetics Regina, IPL and the older “Photo Facial” wording refer to the same treatment rather than two separate services. We use IPL as the preferred current term. You may still recognize “Photo Facial” from older descriptions or from the terminology people use when searching for this type of treatment.
Which concerns do you commonly use IPL to address?
Our client-confirmed IPL treatment focus includes pigmentation, redness, sun spots, uneven-looking skin and overall skin rejuvenation. Suitability still varies by individual, and we do not assume that every pigmentation or redness concern should be treated in the same way. If you are unsure whether IPL is appropriate for what you want to address, you can book a free consultation before choosing the service.
Do you offer Laser Acne Treatment, and which areas can you treat?
Yes. Laser Acne Treatment is one of our active services. Current treatment areas include the full face, chest, shoulders and back. Because acne can have different causes and levels of severity, our website describes the service without claiming to diagnose, cure or guarantee clearance of acne.
What vascular or pigmented lesion concerns do you treat?
We offer treatment options for selected vascular and pigmented concerns. Our current service information includes options associated with facial redness, cheek and nose areas, full-face rosacea listings, the décolleté and neck, and broken capillaries on the cheek, while spider veins are also among the concerns clients commonly ask us about. We do not use the website to diagnose rosacea or other medical conditions, and suitability for treatment needs to be considered individually.
Which chemical peels do you offer, and how do you help me choose?
Our current chemical peel menu includes BioRePeel, Peptide Perfection Peel, Gly-Lac Radiance Peel, Silk Radiance Peel, Acne/Blemish Reset Peel, Peptide & Oxygen Perfection Peel, Customized Peel Treatment, Velvet Glow AHA Peel and Hydrating Lactic Treatment. Different peels are positioned around different goals such as pigmentation, uneven tone, texture, blemishes, hydration, dullness, fine lines and general skin rejuvenation, so we do not describe every peel as suitable for every concern. If you are uncertain about the right option, you can explore the Chemical Peels page or book a free consultation.
What downtime should I expect from your chemical peels?
Downtime depends on the peel selected and the individual. Our current guidance is approximately three days for BioRePeel and generally around one to two days for the other chemical peels. These are typical estimates rather than guaranteed recovery periods, so you should consider your schedule and the specific peel being selected when planning an appointment.
Do you offer BioRePeel, and is it a no-downtime peel?
Yes, we offer BioRePeel, and it is the only medium-depth peel currently identified in our treatment range. We do not describe it as a “no-downtime” treatment. Our current guidance is approximately three days of downtime, although individual experience can vary. This more specific guidance should be used rather than older descriptions that may have referred to BioRePeel as having no downtime.
Do you use professional skincare products during treatments?
Yes. GlyMed Plus is a confirmed skincare line we use during treatments at Allure Aesthetics Regina. Product choice should support the treatment being provided rather than simply adding products for their own sake, and we aim to keep skincare recommendations relevant to the client’s needs.
Can I buy GlyMed Plus skincare from you?
Yes. In addition to using GlyMed Plus products during relevant treatments, we also retail GlyMed Plus for home skincare. If you are unsure what product is appropriate for your routine or treatment plan, you can ask us rather than relying on a generic product recommendation.
Which facial add-ons can I request from you?
Our current facial add-on options include Facial Lymphatic Drainage or Facial Lymphatic Massage, Hydro Jelly Mask, dermaplaning-style exfoliation and LED Light Therapy where applicable. Facial Lymphatic Massage is an optional add-on rather than something automatically included with every facial. Availability depends on the treatment being booked, and current add-on pricing is kept on our Pricing page.
